Trainee Account Executive – Manchester

This is a great opportunity to join one of the fastest growing communications agencies in the country. Having only opened in April, our new Manchester office is expanding and we’re now looking for an enthusiastic individual who is quick to learn and not afraid of hard work.

This is an entry level position for a graduate. A degree in politics/communications is desirable as is a knowledge of the northern boroughs, but the ambition to play an active part in a growing team is essential.

The successful candidate will support the Account Managers within the Remarkable Engagement team based in Manchester.

As a trainee Account Executive you will:

  • Understand how local government works
  • Communicate well with strong writing and inter-personal skills
  • Demonstrate drive, commitment and a focus to producing work of the highest standard
  • Have attention to detail and be a good team player

You will be responsible for supporting the Account Managers and Directors in executing creative engagement programmes to help achieve your clients’ objectives. Your work will include organising public exhibitions and stakeholder events, carrying out political and stakeholder research, producing draft letters, newsletters, exhibition boards and maintaining accurate databases. You will also help create project websites and liaise with local media.

CRM Executive / Sales Co-ordinator

We are looking to recruit an individual with a positive and proactive approach to building relationships with prospects, and identifying new business opportunities. This role is critical for the growth of the Company, specifically for our public relations and marketing team.

The ideal person will have experience of working within a Sales team in an agency, although this is not essential.

The role involves working closely with our sales and marketing team to help develop and generate ideas and campaigns to deliver new business leads via telemarketing activity, social networking and email contact. To do this you must have good verbal and written skills and the ability to express your ideas with confidence. You will have a strong involvement with new business tenders so you must have good analytical, written and proof-reading skills. It is essential that you have experience generating reports as well as working with, and profiling data.

Digital Account Director

We are seeking Digital Account Director, or a Senior Digital Account Manager who is looking to make the next step up.

The ideal candidate will come from a digital or integrated agency background with web-build, app-build and integrated digital campaign experience. This is a hands-on role where digital project management skills are required alongside superb client relationship, presentation and commercial skills.

Working with a variety of clients the Digital Account Director will lead all digital aspects of client accounts, covering web build, app build, social media, video and rich content.

Experience required:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients and developing valuable client relationships
  • Taking responsibility for commercial decisions
  • Scoping, estimating and delivering digital projects on time and on budget
  • Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall web development methodologies
  • Liaising with internal teams including client services, PR, technical development, creative and social community management
  • Leading on digital build projects alongside technical team
  • Responding to new business opportunities via written proposals and presentations
  • Delivering digital strategy advice
  • Familiarity with content strategies, SEO, and paid digital media strategy
  • Handling other agencies and suppliers involved in joint projects
  • Overseeing the final quality of projects via thorough testing and QA processes
