Junior Designer – Winchester

We are recruiting for a junior designer to join our busy team. As a designer at Remarkable Engagement you’ll be responsible for producing and artworking effective consultation design that meets the client’s expectation, whilst maintaining a high level of design quality.

You’ll be working on a variety of public consultation collateral such as newsletters, exhibition stands, stationery and marketing campaigns across a variety of clients. You will need to demonstrate a solid understanding of design and layout and prove you have attention to detail. You will need to provide design support to others within the team and artwork urgent design jobs ahead of tight deadlines. You’ll be willing to learn from the team and be passionate about delivering good work.

We are looking for someone with strong skills in the following areas;

  • Fluency in current graphic design practices and production software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Experience in artworking and liasing with printers
  • Understanding of, and experience in, corporate branding, layout, colour theory and typography
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meeting deadlines and delivering under pressure
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Able to take instruction from account handlers
  • You also need to be adaptable enough to cope with changing priorities

We are looking for a versatile and hands-on Technical Project & QA Manager to join our growing digital team to work on a diverse portfolio of clients.

Working closely with the Head of Technology, this role will require both digital project management, and the quality assurance of these deliverables utilising standard QA methodologies such as UAT, Unit Testing, Functional Testing etc.

Experience

3-5 years project management experience in a fast paced digital environment (agency preferred)

Experience in quality assurance of technical deliverables such as eCommerce systems, content management systems, responsive sites and both native/hybrid apps

We are looking for a talented individual with a background in public consultation in the south of England and potentially the Midlands. Good political contacts are desirable, and the ambition to play an active part in a growing team is essential. You will also have an understanding of property and planning and be enthusiastic to work on strategic projects in the region.

This post supports the Team of Directors and Senior Account Managers within the Remarkable Engagement team. The role’s main objective is to ensure the effective delivery of client projects on time and within budget providing the day to day contact with clients as well supporting the Account Directors where required.  As an Senior Account Executive / Account Manager you will already:

  • Understand how local government works and some knowledge of the property and planning sector
  • Experience in providing day to day account management support
  • Have the ability to provide a client facing role
  • Communicate well with strong writing and inter-personal skills
  • Demonstrate drive, commitment and a focus to producing work of the highest standard

You will be responsible for supporting the Account Directors in executing creative engagement programmes to help achieve your clients’ objectives. We are looking to recruit an individual with a positive and proactive approach to winning new business. This role is critical for the growth of the Company, specifically managing and developing new opportunities for our Engagement division.

The ideal person will have experience of working within a business development role, and will possess a proven track record of developing, expanding and generating new business opportunities across a variety of industry sectors.

Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.  Experience of marketing, product development and distribution, writing contract proposals and the ability to deliver presentations would also be beneficial.

The role involves working closely with our Business Development Director and CEO to help develop and generate ideas and campaigns to deliver new business leads. To do this you must have good verbal skills and the ability to express your ideas with confidence. You will have a strong involvement with new business tenders so you must have good analytical, written and proof-reading skills. This post supports the Team Directors and Account Managers within the Engagement Team, focusing on administrative assistance specific to Engagement. The main objective is to ensure the effective delivery of administrative support to any assigned Account Manager and their projects. As such, this post is responsible for the supporting Engagement management with the development and delivery of client projects on time and within budget.

The post-holder is a member of the Engagement Team and works particularly closely with all Account Directors and Account Managers to ensure deliverables are met within the Team.
