Exciting opportunity for creative web developer/designer to join Remarkable's flourishing digital team.
If from a design background:
Role intended to combine design and programming. Will graphically support existing team with web-layouts, usability, SEO, SEM, social media, online marketing, viral campaigns, general creative flair, imagery, Photoshop, Illustrator, flash, XHTML, CSS.
Required skills: Photoshop, Illustrator, XHTML, CSS (to a high degree, cross-browser), creative tendencies, knowledge of web/accessibility standards (W3C, WAI), ability to work with programmers, good eye for web-based layouts and usability.
Desirable additional skills: Flash graphics/animation, Actionscript (2.0/3.0), PHP, Knowledge of Google API's
Portfolio to show off work an advantage.

We are looking to recruit a Researcher on a 1 year internship basis. In this role you will keep the Public Affairs team up to speed in respect of political and policy developments by analysing information and producing concise clear briefing materials. This opportunity will provide an excellent platform to learn about and develop a career in public affairs. We are looking for someone who is able to commit to the role for one year and who has the following knowledge, skills and experience:
The following skills and experience would be desirable but are not essential:
A minimum of two years experience working in this sector; together with the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders from politicians through to the media is essential. You will work with a range of clients, develop strategies and manage their campaigns.
An understanding of planning and development related issues along with exceptional public consultation experience are required, together with proven experience and track record. Waste management, environment and energy experience would also be beneficial.
