Remarkable bring honorary award home from Washington DC

Communications agency, The Remarkable Group, picked up an honorary International award at the PR News Awards for Corporate Social Responsibility held in Washington DC.

The company was joined by international corporations, such as Coco-Cola, Nickelodeon TV and eBay, at the exclusive Awards Luncheon in Washington DC last week.

Remarkable received the honorary award for the media campaign it ran promoting the partnership between its clients Cash Converters and the children's charity Dreams Come True. Since they were introduced, the two organisations have created a dynamic and mutually beneficial relationship that has generated over £100,000 for the charity, whilst securing both organisations unprecedented amounts of positive publicity.

The partnership has also inspired many individuals within Cash Converters' branches to use their own initiative to raise money for Dreams Come True, the charity which works with terminally and seriously ill children to help make their dreams become a reality.

Remarkable Group's account director, Catherine Reid, who led the campaign and went to Washington DC to pick up the award said: "It was a privilege to pick up an award for Remarkable for the Cash Converters and Dreams Come True campaign. We were absolutely delighted with the campaign results and receiving the honorary award just goes to show how successful it was."
