Long-standing Remarkable employee, Jenny Walton, was crowned Outstanding Achiever of the Year at the agency’s internal employee awards last week for her services to the company and its clients.
Director Jenny was Remarkable’s first employee and has been an integral part of the PR team, leading a number of key accounts and playing an important role in new business.
The awards were part of a Remarkable Afternoon in which staff were given briefings on the company’s plans for 2008 and enjoyed a number of team-building activities and events.
Stephen Pomeroy, chief executive, said: “We are committed to keeping our staff both informed and involved in the company’s progress every step of the way. The Remarkable Afternoon provided a great forum in which to deliver exciting company news, share plans and targets, and have some fun as a team.”
He added: “Jenny’s award was extremely well deserved and marks her continuing commitment to and achievements for the company. We look forward to crowning further Achievers in the coming months!”
Jenny Walton said: “The award came as a complete surprise as it was the first time we’ve had this award and I was delighted to be the winner. This is a great place to work for all sorts of reasons, but particularly because it is professionally satisfying.”
