Remarkable new pastures for New Holland

Major agricultural machinery manufacturer, New Holland, has appointed Winchester based marketing and communications firm Remarkable, to promote its agricultural machinery sector throughout the UK.

The company, which awarded the account to Remarkable following a four-way pitch, has instructed the agency to further raise the profile of the New Holland agricultural brand by running the press office, working regionally with New Holland's extensive national dealership network and handling the company's major events and initiatives.

New Holland is owned by the Italian Fiat Group but prides itself on its British built tractors  and is a major manufacturing employer at its plant in Basildon. Remarkable joins New Holland at a very exciting time; 2008 signals the launch of a new era of innovation and expansion for the agricultural machinery manufacturer.

In July, Remarkable will be in Paris to support New Holland as it unveils its latest market leading product: the world's largest capacity combine harvester.

Remarkable senior account manager, Tracy Mannion, who will be heading up the team, adds: "The pitch process really whetted our appetite for working with such a vibrant brand. We were pleased when New Holland chose us for our imaginative campaign ideas, creative communication solutions and bespoke approach. The British agricultural industry is thriving and we are looking forward to propelling the New Holland profile to even greater heights, promoting their innovative products and first class dealership network."

New Holland's marketing manager, Richard Spencer said: "We were very struck by Remarkable's energy, spark and enthusiasm along with the broad range of marketing and PR capabilities at our disposal. We're about to enter a dynamic new phase and we're very much looking forward to moving forward with Remarkable alongside us."

Stephen Pomeroy, Remarkable's chief executive says: "It's a great addition to the Remarkable client portfolio. This is a major win for us and we're delighted to be joining New Holland at such a significant moment in its long company history."
