The Great South Run 2011

Every day since I entered the Great South Run eight months ago, there’s been a niggling, slightly irritating voice in my head: “GO FOR A RUN!” “GO FOR A RUN!” “GO FOR A RUN!” it says. Getting the motivation to actually get my feet moving and train for such an event is not an easy feat – especially for someone who does not, under any circumstances, enjoy exercise. Boatshow 2011

With the Southampton International Boatshow just on our doorstep, it was a great opportunity to host a Remarkable event. Our friends and clients joined us for a few pre-show drinks at the De Vere Hotel in Southampton before heading over to the main event at Mayflower Park.

We had wall to wall sunshine whilst walking around the show, viewing the multimillion pound superyachts, speed boats and dinghies. We didn’t miss the opportunity to take our clients aboard the impressive Sunseeker models on display; even on dry land these yachts are a thing of true beauty with incredible attention to detail.

If you’re in Southampton this month, the show is running until the 25th September and it’s certainly worth a visit.
